PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS

SureKill CT-511 Caution

Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Mixers, loaders, applicators, and other handlers must wear the following:

● Long-sleeved shirt,

● Long pants, and

● Shoes and socks.

User Safety Requirements

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contaminated with this product’s concentrate. Do not reuse them.

User Safety Recommendations

Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

Users should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing them. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL HAZARDS: Extremely flammable. Contents under pressure. Keep away from fire, sparks, and heated surfaces. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F (54.4° C) may cause bursting. Do not use this product in or around electrical equipment due to possibility of shock hazard.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

READ THE LABEL: Read the entire label and follow all use directions, use restrictions, and precautions.

Remove protective cap. Aim spray opening away from person. Push button to spray.

USE RESTRICTIONS

For use as a surface spray:

● Do not enter or allow others to enter until sprays have dried.

For use as a space spray:

● Do not enter or allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area for at least 15 minutes, until vapors, mists, and/or aerosols have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated.

● Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.

● Do not remain in treated area. Exit area immediately and remain outside the treated area until vapors, mists, and/or aerosols have dispersed.

● Do not wet articles to point of run-off or drip.

● Do not use treated articles until spray has dried.

● Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water before applications.

● Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food preparation surfaces, or wash them before reuse.

● Do not apply directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to storm sewers, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application.

● Do not make space spray applications when facility is in operation. Prior to space spray applications, cover or remove food.

● Prior to space spray applications, cover food processing surfaces or clean after treatment and before use.

INDOOR USE

For Bed Bugs:

Spray mattresses lightly with SureKill CT-511, particularly around tufts and seams. Do not treat pillows, bedding or clothing. Remove linens and wash before reuse. Allow treated mattresses to dry thoroughly before remaking bed. Take bed apart and spray in all joints. Allow to dry thoroughly before making the bed. Treat along baseboards, moldings, and floors. Repeat treatment as necessary, but not more than once per day.

FOOD PROCESSING AREA USE

For Flies, Mosquitoes, Small Flying Moths (millers), and Gnats:

Close all doors and windows. Point nozzle upward, direct SureKill CT-511 spray mist to all parts of the room, especially windows and other light sources which attract these insects. Fill the room with mist, then leave the treated area. Keep the room closed for at least 15 minutes. Thoroughly ventilate the room when treatment is completed.

For Roaches, Waterbugs, Sowbugs, Spiders, and Centipedes:

Spray SureKill CT-511 thoroughly into the following hiding places: cracks, crevices, moist areas, openings around pipes and sinks, under refrigerators, along baseboards, and in storage areas. Spray directly on insects where possible. Repeat as necessary.

For Ants:

Spray trails, nests, and points of entry. Spray SureKill CT-511 on ants where possible. Repeat as necessary.

STORED PRODUCT INSECTS (accessible stages):

For Flying Mediterranean Flour Moths, Indian Meal (Chocolate) Moths, and Angoumois Grain Moths:

Close doors and windows. Direct aerosol mist to all parts of the room, especially into dark enclosures and around stored product containers where adult moths may be resting. Apply at the rate of 1/2 oz. of SureKill CT-511 per 1,000 cu. ft. of space. Keep area closed for 30 minutes after each treatment. Infested stored food products should be fumigated or treated with an approved product. Repeat applications as necessary for control. Do not apply more than once per day.

HORSE BARNS AND STABLES:

In empty horse and pony barns, close all windows and doors. Spray SureKill CT-511 at a rate of 1 to 2 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. Keep area closed for 15 minutes following application.

Storage And Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place away from children, preferably in a secure storage area.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product must be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

CONTAINER HANDLING:

Do not puncture or incinerate!

If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available.

If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency or 1-800-CLEANUP for disposal instructions.
