Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae Bacterin

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy swine 7-10 days or 6 weeks of age or older against disease caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Duration of immunity of at least 4 months has been established for the Intramuscular route with 6 week or older swine. Dosage and Route of Administration: Shake gently and using aseptic technique vaccinate pigs intramuscular or subcutaneous as early as 7-10 days of age with a 1 mL dose followed by a second 1 mL dose 14 days later. For herds that use a single dose program: Vaccinate pigs intramuscularly at 6 weeks of age or older with a single 2 mL dose. For advice on revaccination frequency, contact your veterinarian.

Precautions

Store at 2° to 8°C (35° to 46°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not mix with other products. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient local reaction may occur at the injection site. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur after use. If an allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Caution should be used to avoid injecting your own fingers, hands, or other body parts. Accidental injection can cause serious local reactions. In case of human exposure, contact a physician immediately. Contains Ampicillin, gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives.
