I have realized that I am struggling with emotional lability. I had read that hydroxychloroquine can do this so I stopped taking it about a week and a half ago. I am wondering how long this will take to get the crazies out of my system. This has progressed and I had a major rage 2 weeks ago and I knew I was raging but I couldn't really control it. I started looking up all my medications and it said that hydroxychloroquine can cause this. I am really just looking for something positive to hold on to because sometimes it does feel like I am losing my mind.
I have been on hydroxychloroquine for about one and a half to two years for my RA.

Answers
It takes time to adjust after taking medication like hydroxychloroquine. Panicking won’t do anything, just wait a while till the medication starts to wear off completely.
