Hello..I had unprotected sex on 31st august with my gf..n she took i-pill within 24 hours... she get perids on 11 the september, her actual date was 22nd of september.. last month she was getting perids on 11th september so this month periods has to come on 11th october right..but till now she is not getting periods..so plz let me knw there is any chance of pregnancy? ?
After sex take i-pill within 24 hours, any chance of pregnancy.

The morning after pill (emergency contraceptive pill) is a safe and effective way to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. It will be most effective if taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex. Within 24 hours is best, but it can prevent pregnancy if taken up to 120 hours (5 days) after sex.
Side effects are usually short-term and mild. Some women feel sick and it helps to take the pill with food. Anti-nausea tablets are available on prescription if needed.
Some women experience a change in bleeding pattern and this is in response to hormone fluctuations. Your next period may come at the normal time, but it may be early or late and it could be heavier than usual. All scenarios are normal.
If you don’t get your next period, or it is very light, you should have a pregnancy test.
It may be a good time to consider reliable birth control options.

It is possible to get pregnant during your period but its not real likely. I just wish you young people would stop having unprotected sex. Why do you risk your lives that way? There are so many birth control methods, better then an emergency contraceptive, and the girl wouldn't have all these problems. It makes absolutely no sense for any unwanted pregnancies these days. You guys can walk away, while she's stuck with a baby.

Hi dont worry, periods cycle may get slightly changed after taking i-pill. wait for one week. if periods do not come then conduct pregnancy test or consult a gynec.

Hello DPR28. Me and my bf had sex on 20th August.Though he used condoms but I think per-ejaculation can cause some issues as he was not wearing condoms while caressing. My last period was on 11th August. I took Ipill on 22nd August. After a week of taking ipill now i am having some dark brownish light bleeding from last two days. What does this mean? Can I get pregnant? I am really worried.

I'm assuming you're talking about a morning after pill. If she had her period after you had unprotected sex, there is little chance that she is pregnant. The morning after pill can really mess up a woman's cycle, making her periods screwy for a few months. Actually her due date would be more like the 3rd of october. What are you doing having unprotected sex? You should know better. If you keep doing that someone is going to end up pregnant.
